Advocacy
In addition to teaching young doctors to be competent clinicians, teachers and researchers, the Underwood & Lee program also teaches advocacy as an important part of professional citizenship. As part of their scheduled clinical training, developmental dentistry fellows are required to spend one week in an immersion rotation at Special Olympics International in Washington, DC
